Two years ago I decided to live in Las Vegas for the summer with two other college dropouts, a retired stock trader and a real college student as we all sought to compete with the best players in the world in an attempt to win fame and fortune in the world series of poker. So far this year we have gone a long ways towards achieving our dream, between me and my four roommates that year , Peter Jetten, Max Greenwood, Phil Galfond, Dan Quinn (we were later joined by Alan Sass) we have taken down two world series of poker bracelets, and came excruiatingly close to two more with a second and a third place finish.Not too bad for a few kids who just started with nothing but a big dream.
So I wake up today work out mediate and am feeling good vibes. I was really excited for the 5k 6 max WSOP event as I felt like I had a huge edge.
6th Hand in I get 6 bets in and finally get all in on a T42 flop with TT. My opponent groans and flipped up 22. The 2c came on the turn followed by the 3s on the river.
I woke up and excited and ready to play in todayís 5k NL 6 max event.Six max No Limit is my strongest game due, Iíve played well over a million hands of it online.
So I woke up, had a bad-ass workout, mediated and ate some plants and got ready to go play my A game.This is the best Iíve felt before the tournament since the 5k Mixed and I felt like I was ready to give it 100% for 10 hours+.
