Iíve been back in Michigan for the past week, just relaxing and hanging out with friends and family.† Every year my mom, sister and step dad rent a cabin in northern Michigan and my friends from high school and I rent a cabin next door.† I spent the week tubing, waterskiing, playing football and just catching up with my friends and family.† The laid back week at the lake was a perfect break from†my fast paced life on the Las Vegas strip.† Although, I canít really relax for more than a day or two, I need constant stimulation and I am glad to be back in Las Vegas.

Before I left Vegas I was filming a reality tv pilot with my good friend Alec Torelli.† The show is based on our friendship, the fast-paced lifestyle of Vegas and of course a good amount of degenerate gambling.† I donít want to give too much away but my favorite part of filming occurred when the film crew was shooting footage of Alec and I walking up and down the strip.† We were filming in front of Mirage, when I had a moment of inspiration and bet Alec $1,000 he couldnít summit the Volcano in front of the Mirage Hotel and Caino. Normally, I would have to bet Alec at least $10,000 to do something like this that could result in his arrest, but I figured with a film crew trailing us I could get away with less.

He stripped down to his boxers and jumped into the lake in front of the Volcano.† It was Friday night on the strip, and the mob of people who were walking by stopped and stared to watch the spectacle, and to†snap photos.† Alec, propelled himself from ledge to ledge and eventually reached the top and raised his arms over his head in a victory celebration which got yells and whistles from the crowd.† He then started to descend and the film crew scrambled away† as they feared they might get arrested for filming this.

I waited for Alec to quickly get dressed, and noticed he had a giant gash on his foot he got from climbing the†volcano.†† We ignored the problem for the time being and ran down the strip back towards my condo, as concerns of Alecís arrest outweighed†the concern†of his†foot.† We escaped without even seeing a security guard or police officer.† Before I made the bet I figured it was 50/50 that Alec would get arrested, which I would†have loved to see.
