I have been looking forward to this day since I was 16.†† I have had to spend the past two summers on the bench, cheering on friends at the RIO.† It is every poker player’s favorite time of year, and I cannot wait for tomorrow.† All of my poker friends from around the country are in town and its a lot of fun catching up with everyone and hanging out. † It will be a dream come true when I sit down today in the $10,000 World Championship Pot Limit Hold em event.† It should be a small but tough field with all of the well known pros.† I have not played a ton of pot limit hold em, but it is a very skill full game and requires a lot of deep thinking.† I doubt there is a player in the field who is going to be more excited and ready to play than I am.††

I took almost a month off of poker to focus on a few different things and get my mind in a great place going into the WSOP.† I started grinding online the past few days and I am playing very solid and the cards are treating me well.† I have won almost enough to cover all of my tournament buy-ins for the series.† Nick keeps telling me to start learning Razz because he wants me to play the $50,000 HORSE event, but I think I am going to pass on that one.† I will be playing all the large NL, PL, and PLO tournaments I can.††

Last night I went out with twenty friends for a night on the town.† We played credit card roulette for the $2500 bill and I almost got stuck with it.† We pulled cards out one by one and mine was the second to last card pulled out.† Max “inyaface” Greenwood treated us all to the nice meal and he was on super tilt the whole night.† I am 3 for 3 in my short credit card roulette career, hopefully I can make it through the whole series eating for free.†
