Sorry for the lack of updates.† During the WSOP there was good action here in Vegas, and I went off the deep end, becoming a total degenerate playing poker 10 hours a day.† During the rest of the year in Vegas, the action is fairly slow so it is important to me to put in a lot of hours when high stakes no limit games run.

My results for the summer were fairly disappointing.† The summer started off well for me as I won a good clip playing 50/100 through 100/200NL/PLO but the games kept getting bigger and bigger and I moved up in stakes along with the games.† I ended up getting whacked at 500/1000PLO and then the game was kicked up to 1000/2000PLO and I couldnít really afford to play anymore (not that I could afford 500/1000plo).

As far as tournaments go I stuck with my plan and didnít play many events.† I min-cashed in the $40,000 buy-in for $72,000 which was nice as I just snuck into the money with 3BBs.† Other than that I only played the main-event, and I didnít play particularly well as I was up till 7am the day before playing high stakes cash, and was quite burnt out from two months of poker. ††I ended up going into day two quite short and busted with QQ vs AQ.

Iíve been playing quite a bit of 5/10nl online as the higher NL games donít run quite as much.† Looking at data mining it seems most of the regs are only winning at 2-2.5BB/100, where in the past it was possible for the best regs to crush these games for 5BB/100 8 tabing, kinda depressing. ††I played around 15k hands in a week which was the most Iíve played in a long time and made a little bit in all, but ended up losing real money.

Itís all good though because in addition to playing 15k hands of 5/10nl I played 40 hands of 200/400 PLO and won 130k so itís all good J.† Iíll try to write more soon.
